Nuclear bomb on Nagasaki

A few minutes to 11 a.m. on 9 August 1945, all hell broke loose. Within moments, the bomb created an enormous blaze wiand a mushroom cloud of smoke rising high into the sky. Many people were critically wounded and some of them were even beyond all recognition. At daybreak, the fire had burnt itself out. Nagasaki had disappeared.
